Join the United States Lighthouse Society for an unforgettable 16-day journey through England’s dramatic coastlines and storied maritime history. From the white cliffs of Dover to the rugged granite shores of Cornwall, this exclusive tour explores some of Britain’s most historic and scenic lighthouses. Along the way, enjoy charming coastal villages, centuries-old landmarks, and a taste of England’s maritime spirit.

The northern part of Maine - known as "way down east" -  has some spectacular lighthouses along its rocky coast, and on this tour you will see 25 of them. You will also visit Acadia National Park and Roosevelt Campobello International Park. We'll start in Bangor, Maine, and travel all the way to West Quoddy Head at the easternmost point in the U.S., and over to Head Harbor Lighthouse in Canada.  There may be surprises along the way, such as whales or seals.

What a wonderful way to see the lighthouses of British Columbia and Alaska.  The cruise ship will take care of our comfort needs while we look through our cameras at the 20 plus lighthouses we will see.  As the tour is more developed there will be a guide showing you what lighthouses will be seen at approximate times and from what side of the boat.  Since the boat is returning in almost the same route it is departing you will have more than one chance to get a view of these lighthouses.  There will be 2 excursions while in port as part of this tour price.
