 1 Requests for calibration service should be made via Coast Guard Radio Marshfield (NMF) or via Gloucester Station on 2182 kHz. During calibration direction communications with Eastern Point Light Station can be made on VHF-FM 157.1 mHz.
 2 Request for calibration service may also be made in advance directly to the light station or to Commanding Officer, Cape May, U. S. Coast Guard Moorings, P. O. Box 31, Cape May, New Jersey 08204.

 4 Calibration service on frequencies shown in continuous carrier modulated for tone operation. When transmitting 20 second dash station identification code is superimposed on continuous carrier.
 5 Request for calibration service may be obtained by contacting Mayport Coast Guard on Ch. 16 (156.8 mHz) VHF-FM or 2182 kHz.
 6 Services may be obtained by contacting St. Petersburg Coast Guard on Channel 16 (156.8 mHz) VHF-FM. or 2182 kHz.
 7 Calibration service will be provided only on special radio direction finder transmitter. Request for calibration service may also be made to the light station.
 8 Request for calibration service may also be made in advance directly to the station.

All stations transmit continuously during the time required for calibration with keyed tone modulated carrier (H2A emission), except where noted, and have a reliable range of 5 miles. Their assigned characteristic is transmitted twice followed by a 20-second dash, the complete sequence being repeated twice per minute. The antenna is located on the light structure unless otherwise noted. In the event special calibration service interferes with the operation of regular radiobeacon transmissions, the special calibration service will not be given.

Special calibration operation will be made only upon request in advance to the district commander in whose district the calibration station is located, the address and district limits of which are listed on p. III (of light list). The day, time, and frequency on which special calibration service is desired must be stated. If service is desired on both frequencies listed, the time that transmission on each frequency is desired must be specified. Upon arrival at the station on the date and hour specified, station personnel may be contacted by means of usual whistle signal or flag hoist.
