Miscellaneous Remarks: It is respectfully recommended that a Boathouse be erected at this station, & a conductor placed on the dwelling; the water spouts on back of dwelling; also shutters put to the windows to keep out sand & blind the lights in the dwelling.

Oil: Sample examined & found to be free from all objectionable matter, it had not been filtered.

Plate Glass: All very clean, one badly cracked & most of them are badly scratched, arising from bad packing.
Lens Cover: Cover on; clean; in good condition; hung up in the lantern room when not in use.
Lantern Curtains: 2 sets in good condition; clean; put up & taken down at the proper time.

Rod Lamp: There is a Rod Lamp in good condition trimmed ready for use.
Dwelling: Very clean & in good condition.
Stairway and Landing: Clean & whitewashed.
Inside of Tower: Whitewashed in good condition
Glazing of Dwelling: Good condition.
Improvements Needed: A kitchen for cooking is much needed & very requisite - the old one having been pulled down. Also a boat house to protect the boat etc. Shutters for the dwelling house.
Outhouses: Good condition & nicely whitewashed.
Boathouse: None, but 1 is much required.
Grounds: In very good order. They appear to have attention paid them.

Dome: They were painted according to instructions; the lightning conductor was in good condition led into the ground.
