Southern California and Norte Baja
Lighthouses and Faros
March 24, 2019 – April 4, 2019

On this tour we will be driving route 1 and the Pacific Coast Highway which is an iconic driving experience from the rugged shores of Big Sur and the Southern edge of the San Francisco Bay area through San Luis Obispo to Santa Barbara known as the American Riviera ending in San Diego. The Golden Coast offers some spectacular scenery and some unique photo opportunities. We continue our journey south to provide you with a genuine Mexican experience stopping in Ensenada where the variety of landscape and the unique architecture will delight your sights.

This tour starts in San Francisco, California and will cover over 500 miles of the Golden Coast as we head south all the way to Ensenada Mexico ending back in San Diego, California and flights home. Along the way we will even manage to stop and see twenty Lighthouses.

Included in the tour will be other stops of interest such as Hearst Castle, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Cabrillo National Monument and the sunset over the Pacific Ocean from the gondola of a Hot Air Balloon. Offered for the first time is a boat cruise to Islas Coranodos in Mexican waters.

Come join us on a passport, (both lighthouse and US), required adventure to see some of our old favorites and some lighthouses that the U.S. Lighthouse Society has not offered on a tour prior to this.
