On this tour we travel to Grand Manan New Brunswick. We cruise on a boat around the southern side of the island to see 4 lighthouses from the water. We also see others by land including a night shoot at Long Eddy Lighthouse with view of all of the operating lighthouses in the area. We will get to view the extreme tides of the Bay of Fundy. We visit Campobello Island in Canada and see the Head Harbor (East Quoddy) Lighthouse. In Maine we visit the northern most lighthouse in the United States, West Quoddy. We only offer this tour every 3 years so don't miss out on this one.

Up to 180 days prior to departure $150.00 processing fee will be charged

179 – 90 days prior to departure Deposits become non-refundable

89 – 60 days prior to departure 50% of tour price is payable and becomes non-refundable

59 – 30 days prior to departure 100% of tour price is payable and becomes non-refundable

1 - 29 days prior to departure 100% of tour price becomes non-refundable. Exceptions will be addressed on a case by case basis.

Also, any non-recoverable expenses are deducted from your tour payment before any refund.

Day 1 - Saturday October 7, 2023 - Travel to Bangor International Airport. After collecting your luggage walk across the overhead walkway to the hotel. The welcome dinner will be this evening at the hotel.

Day 2 - Sunday October 8, 2023 - We head to Grand Manan today via a ferry. We will be crossing the Canadian border so be sure to bring your ID (e.g. passport). We will be seeing about 4 lighthouses on the ferry trip. When we land we will go to our lodging and have dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 - Monday October 9, 2023 - After breakfast we will board a boat to tour the southern part of the island and see 4 lighthouses from the water. After we disembark we will see another lighthouse on land.

Day 4 - Tuesday October 10, 2023 - Today we get a tour of Swallowtail Lighthouse. We then have lunch at a local restaurant. Then we visit Long Eddy Point Lighthouse during the day. A visit to the museum is a must to see the 2nd Order Fresnel Lens and learn of the local history. At dusk we will head back to Long Eddy Point Lighthouse for night shoot of all of the operating/blinking lighthouses in the area. A fantastic view.

Day 5 - Wednesday October 11, 2023 - A leisurely morning and then we board the ferry back to Black Harbor. We visit Long Point Lighthouse and then head for St. John Brunswick where we will see a few lighthouses in the area. We check in to the hotel and have dinner there.

Day 6 - Thursday October 12, 2023 - We go to St. Martin and Quaco Head Lighthouse. We visit their museum and visitor center as well as have lunch at the Cave Restaurant where we can explore the beach after. We will stop at Cape Spencer Lighthouse. We will head back to St. John and see the Courtenay Breakwater light and view of the Partridge Island Lighthouse.

Day 7 - Friday October 13, 2023 - Today we will visit and experience the extreme tides of the Bay of Fundy. We will also see Renforth Lighthouse. This afternoon we will be able to explore the town of St. John on our own or take the long hike to Swift Point lighthouse. That evening we will have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 8 - Saturday October 14, 2023 - We leave St. John and head back to the United States where we will stop to see Whitlock Mills Lighthouse. We will stay at a motel in Lubec, Maine and eat dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 9 - Sunday October 15, 2023 - We head across the Canadian border again at Lubec to see Head Harbor (East Quoddy) Lighthouse. We will try to catch the tide just right for walking the treacherous trail to the lighthouse. After that we will stop at Mulholland Lighthouse. We will cross the border again and head for West Quoddy Lighthouse. Then we will stop for brief photo shoot of Lubec Channel Light. To end the day we will make the long trip back to Bangor to the hotel we started at. We will have our Farewell dinner there.

Day 10 - Monday October 16, 2023 - After breakfast there will be flights home.
