We invite you to take part in a celebration of our love for lighthouses: our second annual Lighthouse Dance Off! This year, we’re opening the contest to lighthouses around the world. Dancing ability is not required. Enthusiasm and creativity are more important. It’s an opportunity to show your lighthouse spirit and to have some fun!
To enter, use the original song Meet Me at the Lighthouse, written and performed by Joe Rivers. A lighthouse (or lightship) should be seen in the video, but it doesn’t have to be visible the whole time. Anyone and everyone can take part. It can be volunteers and/or staff at a lighthouse, members, lighthouse fans, or any combination. It can be one person, a few, or a large group.
The deadline for submission is August 28 by midnight. Please send your video to jeremy@uslhs.org. We will be awarding prizes for the best dance videos. First prize is $250. We will also be awarding a special scholarship prize of $250 for the best video featuring children 15 or under.
