Port Huron (MI) Christmas Light Trolley Tour, Candlelight Lighthouse Climb to start Nov. 25
Port Huron Museums' annual Christmas Light Trolley Tour and Candlelight Lighthouse Climb will start Nov. 25, running Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 23.

"These tours start at the Fort Gratiot Light Station by hopping on the museum trolley and driving through the surrounding neighborhoods with beautiful holiday lights, all the while being entertained by holiday trivia and lore," Port Huron Museums Executive Director Veronica Campbell said.

Raffles (Singapore) Lighthouse could be powered entirely by solar, tidal wave energy
The Raffles Lighthouse located on Pulau Satumu and operational equipment such as radar towers on the southern island could soon be powered entirely by renewable energy.

The Straits Times has learnt that the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is looking to generate more than 1.2 gigawatt hours of electricity per annum on the island from solar energy, using solar panels and energy storage systems to manage solar intermittency.

Full moon event at Crooked River (FL) Lighthouse
The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a fun Full Moon Event on Monday, Nov. 27, from 6-8p.m. in Carrabelle.

Care for the Norah Head lighthouse (AU) still runs in the family
When it comes to understanding the significance of the iconic Norah Head Lighthouse Reserve to the local community, Matthew Smith and Jacki Lamphee simply think back to childhood.

They are both direct descendants of tow of the previous lighthouse keepers at Norah Head, and put up their hands to join the Norah Head Reserve Community Liaison Group, which held its first meeting at the lighthouse on November 9.

After years of planning, a new multi-use pathway in Buxton took a big step forward on Wednesday, November 15, as stakeholders celebrated the imminent construction of the first 1.25-mile-long phase of the project with a groundbreaking ceremony steps away from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

In 1984, the Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CHNS) prepared a General Management Plan that featured a number of proposed projects in the Buxton area, including a multi-use pathway on Lighthouse Road.

Cape Henlopen Lighthouse (DE) stones from Route 1 farmhouse donated to Delaware State Parks
Exterior facade, fireplaces are made from beacon that fell nearly 100 years ago.

The state's Division of Parks and Recreation has agreed to take granite stones from a Route 1 farmhouse that used to be part of the old Cape Henlopen Lighthouse. How they'll be used hasn't been figured out yet.
