Hudson-Athens, NY, completes restoration project. Here's a short video on the process
This fall the Hudson Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society (HALPS) completed an $800,000 restoration of the lighthouse's slate and copper roof. HALPS produced a seven-minute video featuring the restoration team and the work involved in the process.

Greens Ledge Lighthouse in Rowayton, CT, becomes a new educational hub on Long Island Sound
Greens Ledge Lighthouse is entering a new era, transitioning from a historic restoration project to a vibrant educational hub.
The revitalization began in 2016, when the Pettee family of Rowayton purchased the lighthouse and founded the Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society (GLLPS) to save the historic structure.
