A Sheboygan County Lighthouse is looking for a new owner.

The U.S. General Services Administration says the Sheboygan Breakwater Light in Sheboygan County is no longer needed by the U.S. Coast Guard and is now available for park, recreational, educational, cultural, or historic purposes.

Lighting the way: Jupiter Lighthouse, FL, celebrates 165th anniversary

Hard to believe, but the Jupiter Lighthouse has stood watch over the Jupiter Inlet and the northern edge of the Florida Straits for 165 years.

Frisco Bay Lighthouse, CO, at 9,017 feet may be highest-elevation lighthouse on planet

A couple years ago, Colorado Governor Jared Polis took to social media to share a few fun facts about the marina lighthouse on Dillion Reservoir.

According to Polis, not only is this the only lighthouse in Colorado, but it's also the highest-elevation lighthouse in the US - possibly the world.

A written history about the Currituck Lighthouse, NC, keepers needs your help

The story of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse goes back 150 years.

"Lighthouse is first illuminated on December 1, 1875. The flashing beacon illuminates the last major dark space on the Atlantic coast," said Meghan Agresto, the site manager of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse for the Outer Banks Conservationists.

Tybee Lighthouse, GA, gives giant American Flag update on July 4th

Due to forecasts of high winds and afternoon thunderstorms, the Tybee Lighthouse will not be flying their giant American Flag on the Forth of July.

Historic Keweenaw lighthouse, MI, available for transfer to eligible agencies and nonprofits

The U.S. General Services Administration is looking to transfer the Keweenaw Waterway Upper Entrance Lighthouse to an agency or non-profit.
