Oil: Oil was found to be free from motes dust or dirt and had not been filtered.

Plate Glass: In good condition. Free from scratches, stains or dirt.
Lens Cover: Cover on; clean, made of linen ticking - hung up in the lantern room when not in use.
Lantern Curtains: 1 set, in good condition, made of linen ticking, put up & taken down at proper time.
Carillon or Alarm Bell: There is none required.
Rod Lamp: Rod lamp in good condition, clean & trimmed for use.
Dwelling: The general condition of bldgs is good, though some slight repairs are required.
Stairway and Landing: In good condition, clean & whitewashed.
