Service Lamp Burner Level: It was found to be level.
Plate Glass: In good condition & clear.
Lens Cover: Clean, made of striped linen & not having hooks, is kept folded & placed carefully on service table in lantern room.
Lantern Curtains: There is one set Lantern curtains in good condition.
Carillon or Alarm Bell: There is nothing of the kind supplied here.
Rod Lamp: Lamp in good condition & kept ready for use. Keeper fully understands all that is required about it.
Dwelling: Chimney smokes. In good condition.
Stairway and Landing: Perfectly clean.

Grounds: As good as could be expected in such a windy & exposed place. They have the appearance of great care & neatness.

Lens: Proper steps are used for adjusting these matters.
Lantern and Trap Doors: They are properly fitted, & answer the purpose for which they are designed.
Watch or Trimming Room: Nothing of the kind came under my observation.
Lucernes or Matches: The Lantern lamp is lighted at the Keeper's house by which the Lucerne lamp is lighted in the Lantern room.
Heater: Lamp now in use (Franklin) is a self-heater.
Ventilation: Keeper is fully sensible of the importance of the above points & is carefully attentive to them.
Dome: Dome of Lantern, coral & balustrade etc. are painted according to instructions. Lightning rod in good condition.
