Access to Lighthouse: Boathouse is wooden structure, built of vertical boards with gable roof, on concrete piers, 12' x 20' in plan, with inclined way, provided with rollers, leading down into water, outer end of incline being supported by stone filled timber crib.
Distance and Direction: Boathouse moved onto present concrete piers & boatways built in March-April, 1907. Located at NW angle of Little Sodus Bay, just below bluff, btwn dwelling & Rear Beacon, alongside walk btwn the two, 568' E'ly from dwelling & 1434' W'ly from Rear Beacon.
Miscellaneous Remarks: Boardwalk along beach 2' wide & 1224' long, from dwelling to inner end of W pier. Elevated walk on W Pier, 4' wide & 4' high, with hand rail 3' above walk, 1634' long.
