Facility: The Keeper's house is open year round as a bed and breakfast.  The facility has six rooms with queen size beds. Included is a seven course breakfast and wine and cheese social.  The first floor of the Keepers' Home is an interpretive center open to the public 11-3, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and by appointment the rest of the year.  The historic Generator Building, along the path to the Lighthouse tower, is a Maritime themed gift shop.  The Light Station is a popular event venue for weddings and other special occasions with full catering and other services.

Volunteer Host Keeper

Oregon State Parks (Multiple Lighthouse Locations)

Applications:  Should be completed online to begin the entry process into the Oregon Parks and Recreation (OPRD) volunteer program.
Facility: Oregon has a number of opportunities at their state parks for hosts, with several opportunities taking place at four lighthouses on the Oregon Coast.  Each opportunity provides a volunteer host site as a benefit of volunteer service. 
Duties: For a list of the potential opportunities along with a description of duties and accommodations go to the volunteer pages of the OPRD website  and click on any of the following state parks or lighthouses: Cape Meares, Coquille River Lighthouse, Heceta Head Lighthouse State Park, or Yaquina Bay Lighthouse State Park.
