Four times each year, Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge offers a tour to Lighthouse Island with Coastal Expeditions where you can view two historic lights (New and Old Cape Romain). Tour starts at the Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center: 5821 Highway 17N, Awendaw, SC) and moves to the McClellanville boat landing (405 Pinckney St, McClellanville, SC 29458) to board the Coastal Expeditions Ferry to travel to the Island.
