Essex National Heritage Commission is hosting escorted, guided boat tours aboard their landing craft, Naumkeag, to Bakers Island Light Station near Salem, Massachusetts. Trips are offered mid-June through Labor Day. There are also opportunities to stay overnight in one of the keeper's houses, and to camp in the Old Pasture Campground. This is the only way to access the lighthouse. Naumkeag departs from the Salem Ferry dock at 10 Blaney Street, Salem MA 01970.
