ARCATA/MCKINLEYVILLE
Arrive at the Arcata Airport. A courtesy shuttle will transport you to the hotel. We will have our welcome dinner that evening at a nearby restaurant.
November 1, 2008
EUREKA - CRESCENT CITY
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Crescent City. Upon arrival, meet a representative from St. George Reef Preservation Society who has arranged for everyone to take a short flight, via helicopter, out to the St. George Reef Lighthouse for a special tour. On this day, we will also be visiting Battery Point Lighthouse. Later that afternoon, we will check in to our hotel in Crescent City and have dinner at a nearby restaurant.

CRESCENT CITY - EUREKA
Breakfast at the hotel. We will depart for a tour of the Del Norte County Historical Society Museum, where the 1st Order Fresnel lens from St. George Reef Lighthouse is on display. Then we will drive to Eureka to view Table Bluff Lighthouse and tour the Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum. En route we will stop for lunch and also visit the small picturesque town of Trinidad along with its lighthouse replica for a photo op. Overnight in Eureka. Dinner at a local restaurant.

EUREKA - FORT BRAGG
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Fort Bragg. En route visit replica of Cape Mendocino Lighthouse in Ferndale that houses the 1st Order Fresnel lens from the original lighthouse and then stop at the Richardson Grove Redwoods State Park, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch. Overnight in Fort Bragg. Dinner at a local restaurant.

FORT BRAGG - SAN RAFAEL
Breakfast at the hotel. We will depart for a tour of Point Cabrillo Lighthouse. Then we will head south for the Point Arena Lighthouse and will enjoy a box lunch on the way to Jenner and San Rafael. En route, we will stop at a winery to taste a famous Sonoma County wine. Overnight in San Rafael. Dinner at a local restaurant.
November 5, 2008
SAN RAFAEL - SAN FRANCISCO
Breakfast at the hotel. We will depart for Sausalito and board a vessel for a half-day Bay Area lighthouse cruise where we will see the Alcatraz, Fort Point, Mile Rock, Point Bonita, Lime Point, East Brother Island and Yerba Buena Island Lighthouses. Lunch will be on board the vessel. Afterward, we will head to the Fisherman's Wharf area of San Francisco where we will stay overnight. You will have the afternoon and dinner on your own. A complimentary cable car pass will be provided.

SAN FRANCISCO - SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Alcatraz Island via ferry for a visit to the island's prison and a possible tour of the lighthouse. Lunch will be on your own at famous Pier 39. After lunch, travel to Fort Point Lighthouse and then head to Oakland to tour the Lightship LV 605, Relief, in Jack London Square. Then depart for hotel near San Francisco International Airport for our final night. We will have our farewell dinner that evening at the hotel.
