Join U.S. Lighthouse Society historian Jeremy D'Entremont and tour leader Tina Hans for a preview of the Southern Maine and New Hampshire Tour coming up this October 6-12. The tour will cover 436 miles by land, as well as four cruises for a total of more than 30 lighthouses. Three museums are also included.
The tour will include such iconic locations at Portland Head, Cape Neddick "Nubble", Marshall Point, Pemaquid Point, Portsmouth Harbor, and Owls Head, as well as some lesser known but quintessential New England lighthouses like Burnt Island, Portland Breakwater, Spring Point Ledge, and more. The Maine Lighthouse Museum (largest collection of Fresnel lighthouse lenses in the U.S.), Maine Maritime Museum, and the Owls Head Transportation Museum are also included.
